PURPOSE:To recover the residual flux near the weld slag effectively in a method for recovering flux, by oscillating a flux-recovering hose in the direction intersecting roughly orthogonally with the weld line. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating device 20 consists of a motor 22 combined with an oscillation coupling 23, disc 24 connected to themotor 22, a shaft 25 mounted to the disc, a bearing 26 connected rotatably to the shaft 25, and a turnbuckle 27 connected to the bearing 26. A long hole is provided radially to the disc 24, and the shaft 25 is fixed in the proper position of said hole. The eccentricity of the shaft 25 is adjusted by adjusting said position. When the shaft 25 moves circularly at the radius corresponding to the eccentricity, the turnbuckle 27 moves back and forth and oscillates a hose 10. If the size of weld slag changes, the eccentricity of the shaft 25 is changed so as to change amplitude. |
