PURPOSE:To accomplish the identification of a display screen even in a personal computer having a few colors which can be displayed by searching a gradation level which can be set by referring to a flag, setting said gradation level and masking an entry adjacent to a color entry according to a table. CONSTITUTION:When an operator depresses a specific key, the key is decoded by a keyboard controller 2 and a display attribute conversion control part 4 is started by an operating system 3. The display attribute conversion control part 4 forms the table showing the adjacency relation of each color and performs masking (the flag is turned on) so as not to use the selected gradation level for the adjacent colors. By referring to the flag, the gradation level which can be set is searched and a fetching gradation level is set as a candidate. Thus, a displayed color can be altered at an optional point and the identification of something to be displayed can be accomplished in a display device having a few kinds of display gradation. |
