PURPOSE:To inform its position information only to a person desiring to know the position information by constituting the system by a transmitter arranged at a specific position, coding the information coming to the specific location and sending the information while superimposing it onto a weak radio wave and a handy receiver receiving the weak radio wave, decoding the information and displaying it. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 13 is installed to each station (specific location) in case of using station information and has a location code comprising an identifier, a line name and a station name. A location code decided in each station in public is set to a location information code setting/generating section 1 in each station and the transmitter sends the code repetitively at all times via a location information transmission section 2 while superimposing the code onto a weak radio wave reaching in a distance of only several tens meters. On the other hand, a passenger desiring to know the location information carriers a receiver 14, a reception section 4 of which receives the weak radio wave, a location code readout section 5 of which extracts a code from the identifier of the location code, and a location code collation section 6 of which extracts the location information by means of a location code corresponding information section 7. The extracted information, that is, the line name and the station name or the like is displayed on a location information display section 8 and the passenger having the receiver 14 reads the information. |
