<p>A communication device: receives incoming packets including test packets containing test symbols and information packets containing information symbols for configuring FEC codes; divides the packets into a plurality of symbols; detects whether each of the incoming packets is a normal incoming packet or an abnormal incoming packet; for each FEC code, generates a plurality of FEC decoding candidates configured from the normal symbols included in the normal incoming packets and the uncertain symbols included in the abnormal incoming packets, in a manner such that the uncertain symbols differ between candidates; performs a first error correction; and corrects the FEC codes on the basis of the first error correction result which matches among the plurality of first error correction results for the plurality of FEC decoding candidates.</p> |
