PURPOSE:To protect motors wired in parallel from burning, by arranging a temperature fuse in any one of a plural of induction motors wired in parallel. CONSTITUTION:When the main winding M5 of an induction motor 5 is burnt to cause layer short and turning ON of the weak tap contact 2L in a changeover switch 2, excessive heat is produced from respective induction motors 3, 4, 5 because currents higher than rated value flow simultaneously only through auxiliary windings A3, A4, A5. When the temperature of the induction motor 3 reaches to the blow-off temperature of a temperature fuse 6, the temperature fuse 6 is blown off to open (a) contact 8 through an auxiliary relay 7, thus interrupting power source for the main circuit of the induction motor. |
