摘要 In a linear motor with a long stator, whose stator winding consists of two parallel winding lengths and is divided into individual switching sections P(n), P(n+1) ..., no complete interruption in the transmission of force between stator and rotor is to occur at the junction to a new winding section but the current is to be switched over by currentless switching to the new switching section. In each switching section, the two winding lengths Bl(n), Br(n) are to be fed from separate feed devices WR1, WR2. Switching over takes place in that the respective feed device is powered down, switched onward from the previously fed section of one switching section to one of the two winding lengths of the next switching section and powered up again. The switching onward of the two feed devices takes place with successive timing, switching onward from one winding section Br(n) being terminated even before the junction point between the switching sections is reached and the switching onward of the other winding section Bl(n) is, however, not initiated until the junction between the switching sections is left. <IMAGE>
