A golf ball feeder for a shot practice includes a box (1) to be embedded under the ground. The box is partitioned into an operation room (5) and a ball stocking room (6) by an oblique partition plate (4) having an inlet pipe (3) for balls at its bottom portion. A feed pipe (7) and a discharge pipe (8) for balls are provided in the box in such a manner that the feed pipe is interconnected with the discharge pipe at the upper portion. A ball feed piston (10) mounted in the feed pipe has a rack (14) and a guide recess (9). A ball discharge piston (13) mounted in the discharge pipe has a rack (14') and a T-member (12) with a detecting switch (11). The racks are engaged with a pinion (18).
