PURPOSE:To make a cell thin and lightweight by constituting it with a positive electrode made of a conducting organic polymer, a metal negative electrode connected to the positive electrode, and an electrolyte solution. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode 1 made of a conducting organic polymer is impregnated with an electrolyte solution, a metal negative electrode 2 is brought into direct contact with the positive electrode 1 via no separator. A positive electrode current collector 3 made of platinum or the like and a negative electrode current collector 4 made of stainless steel or the like are electrically connected to the positive electrode 1 and the negative electrode 2 respectively. Lead wires 5 and 6 are connected to the current collectors 3 and 4. These members are stored end sealed with a case 7 and a cover 8. No separator is inserted, thus a cell can be made thin and lightweight. |
