PURPOSE:To transport a sheet to specified position at all times accurately when image read and reproduction are to be made, by disengaging the sheet pinching condition by a roller couple, locating it with a locating means, and pinching and transporting it again with roller couple. CONSTITUTION:An accumulative fluorescent sheet from a stacker is fed into a sheet transporting/locating mechanism 84, and pinched transportation is made by a roller couple 86, movable guide plate 88, and roller couples 92, 96. At this time, the tip of a stopper 168 is intruded between guide plates 94 with rotation of a cam 164 which is driven by a drive motive 162, and the roller couples 86, 92, 96 are separated and the pinched condition is disengaged, and it runs against the stopper 168 by its own weight. Then a locating means 140 is driven, and a displacing member 144 is displaced along a guide rod 142, and the sheet side edges are located by the tips 150, 152 of pushing members 146, 148. Then the stopper 168 is retracted, and pinched transportation is resumed by the roller couples 82, 92, 96. Thus sheets can be transported to accurate position at all times. |
