PLASTIC CERAMIC SINTERED BODY AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve plastic workability by primarily sintering a blend of fine Al2O3 particles with fine particles of a sintering assistant and working the resulting fine polycrystal sintered body under the action of stress within a temp. range in which the sintered body is plastic. CONSTITUTION:A blend of 100 pts.wt. fine Al2O3 particles having <=1.0mum average particle size with <=1.0 pt.wt. fine particles of one or more among MgO, Y2O3, ZrO2 and Ta2O5 as a sintering assistant having <=1.0mum average particle size is compacted and primarily sintered to obtain a fine polycrystal sintered body having <=1.0mum average grain size. This sintered body is worked under the action of stress within a temp. range in which the sintered body is plastic.
