<p>In the manufacture of vertical blind slats hither to the operations required are done manually mainly to cut the length of desired slat from the raw material roll, to punch the opening at top and to either punch or crease the bottom of the slat depending on the raw material used. In this invention, all of the above operations are automated in one automatic apparatus requiring only one individual to start up the apparatus, set the desired length of slat and the number of slats required with the end result being slats cut to the desired length with the guide holes both at top and bottom being punched or the top and bottom portion having been creased, depending on the raw material used.</p> |
