PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity suitable for practical use and stable potential characteristic during repetitive use, by incorporating a specified disazo pigment into a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:A disazo pigment expressed by the formula I is incorporated into a photoconductive layer in a electrophotographic sensitive body having the photoconductive layer on an electroconductive base body. In the formula I, each R1 and R2 is H atom., halogen atom., alkyl group which may have a substituent, or alkoxy group, wherein R1 and R2 may be same or different to each other; each A1 and A2 is a coupler residue having a phenolic OH group, and A1 and A2 may be same or different to each other. Thus, an electrophotographic sensitive body having improved sensitivity and high stability of potential during long time use, is obtd. |
