PURPOSE:To facilitate post branching by using specific plastically deformable plastic as the material of pipes for optical fiber pipe fibers and subjecting the fibers to inverted left-hand and right-hand lay assembling while applying the heat for application of plastic deformation to said pipes, then cooling the assembled optical fiber pipe fibers, thereby forming an optical fiber assemblage. CONSTITUTION:The plastic which is plastically deformable at the temp. to give no influence on the optical fibers 4 in the pipes 5 of the optical fiber pipe fibers 6 is adopted for the material of said pipes and while the heat to apply the plastic deformation to said pipes 5 is applied to the pipes, the pipes are subjected to the left-hand and right-hand assembling. The assembled optical fiber pipe fibers 6 are thereafter cooled to form the optical fiber assemblage. The optical fiber pipe fibers 6 are heated and are easily twisted according to this method. The left-hand and right-hand twisting of the fibers is thereby enabled without problems even at 10mm pitch and the surplus length of the optical fiber pipe fibers 6 can be sufficiently drawn out. |
