The holder is formed as an additional accessory (11) comprising a fixture part applicable to a support leg (8), and partly an attached male component, e.g. a tube (13) which can be inserted in the central hole of a cable drum. The fixture part comprises a wedge-shaped narrowing seat which accommodates a similarly wedge-shaped free end of the support leg. A socket is connected to the fixture in which the male component is fitted, and is movable between different adjustment positions in which it is lockable. The connection between the socket and the fixture part is via an articulation which allows the socket and the attached male component to pivot through a limited angle in relation to the fixture part. On the male component is fitted a ring with a conically narrowing end which can be inserted in the cable drum central hole in which it wedges firmly. The ring exerts a specific friction against the male component to prevent free or uncontrolled rotation of the drum in relation to the male component. |
