PURPOSE:To ensure the injection of liquid by conveying a shaft into an injecting station in a vertically erected condition with its end portion upward, injecting liquid into a boot with the large diameter end of the boot being separated from the opening end of a coupling unit, and fitting the large diameter end on the outer periphery of the opening end. CONSTITUTION:As a shaft A is carried into an injecting station, the clamp arms 9c, 9c of a boot opening/closing device 4 are closed holding the vicinity portion of the large diameter end E2 of a boot E. At this time, since the shaft A is kept in a vertical posture with the end portion of the assembling side of a coupling unit held upward, the large diameter end E2 of the boot E is in a condition of being in contact with the opening end which is faced downward of the coupling unit. Then, as the clamp arms 9c, 9c are moved downward, the large diameter end E2 is separated downward from the opening end of the coupling unit, opening up the large diameter end E2 upward. Then, the nozzle 6 of a nozzle device 3 is directed to the open place of the large diameter end E2 to inject liquid into the boot E. After injecting, the nozzle 6 is retracted and the large diameter end E2 is fitted on the opening end. |
