PURPOSE:To improve safety and the like at high speed operation by setting one of belt layers of a front wheel tire, that is outside in the radial direction, narrower in width while one of belt layers of a rear wheel tire, that is outside in the radial direction, broader in width. CONSTITUTION:A radial tire 1 set on e.g., a front wheel of a motorbicycle has a pair of annular beads 3, two layer carcass 5 extending between the beads 3, 3, a belt layer 7 laminated at a crown area of carcass 5, a tread 8 covering the outside of the belt layer 7. This layer 7 is formed of three layers, i.e. an inner layer 7A, intermediate layer 7B, and outer layer 7C, from the carcass 5 side to the outside sequentially. In this case, e.g., the layer 7B arranged outside in the radial direction is set smaller in width than e.g., the layer 7A arranged similarly. It is thus possible to improve the rigidity of the belt layer so as to ensure safety and the like at brake operation as well as running operation. |
