摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a self-traveling vehicle from colliding into the rear end by separately disposing two signal lines with which first and second current collectors provided in the vehicle are brought into slide contact in zones, and connecting the signal lines to each other in adjacent zones. CONSTITUTION:When a following self-traveling vehicle 1B enters a zone Z-1 in a state that a self-traveling vehicle 1B is located in a zone Z, a closed loop of a power supply rail 10S, the current collector 6 of a preceding vehicle 1A, a rearward movement inhibiting relay 12, a shoe 4, a signal line 8 of a zone Z, a connecting line 9, the signal line 7 of a zone Z-1, the shoe 3 of a following vehicle 1B, a forward movement inhibiting relay 11, a shoe 5, and the rail 10S is formed. Thus, the rearward movement of the vehicle 1A is inhibited, and the forward movement of the vehicle 1B is inhibited; thereby, the vehicle 1A is prevented from colliding into the rear end of the vehicle 1B.
