The tray e.g. for fruit or vegetables is formed from a rectangular plastics moulding with one or more sides cut away (1e). A trapezoidal insert (13) fits into the cut away space to complete the side (1a) before the tray is put on display. The box has four feet (3) one at each corner. The feet consist of a spherical ball (10) supported inside the housing (3) by a ring of captive ball bearings. When the trays are stacked, the feet of the upper tray locate in recesses in the top of the lower tray. ADVANTAGE - The ball feet allow individual or stacks of trays to be moved around freely in all directions, without needing trolleys.
