<p>Described are new diisopropylbenzol-bisperneoalkanoates of general formula (I), where R and R' represent a CR1R2R3 group, where R1, R2 and R3 represent an alkyl group and R1, R2 and R3 together contain 3 to 11 atoms of carbon, R and R' are different or equal, and the isopropyl groups in the diisopropylbenzol residue are in the m position and/or p position relative to each other. The compounds according to formula (I), and in particular diisopropylbenzol-bisperneodecanoate, are very good initiators of radical chain polymerization or copolymerization, particularly for polymerisation of vinyl chloride and of ethyls.</p> |
