A cylindrical reservoir (1) is provided with a lower, funnel-shaped screw cap (2) with a threaded nipple (4) which can be screwed on to a lubricating system. A mobile piston (23) provided with a sealing washer (28) divides the reservoir (1) into a lubricant chamber (3) and a compressed gas chamber (29). Lubricant (32) packaged in a flexible pouch (31) can be introduced into the lubricant chamber (30) after the screw cap (2) is removed. The reservoir (1) contains a pot-shaped space (17) located above the compressed gas chamber (29), which can be hermetically sealed by a screw (12). A double battery (34) for generating a compressed gas which acts on the piston (23) is arranged in the space (17), which communicates with the compressed gas chamber (29) via a gas throughflow orifice (18). The generation of gas induced by the passage of current through the battery (34) can be selected by means of an adjustable element of a resistor (48) lodged in the space (17) in the reservoir (1). This appliance makes it possible to complement or replace, easily, rapidly and whenever desired, the consumption materials, namely the lubricant and the battery, and to reuse the other parts of the applicance. |
