The invention relates to a tool-changing holder for machine tools, having a rotationally driven spindle (1, 1') and an interchangeable tool head (20, 20', 20'') which can be fixed to the spindle (1, 1'). On the tool side, the rotationally driven spindle (1) is provided with a central fitting pin (2) with clamping device (3) and an annular end face (9) concentrically surrounding this fitting pin (2). The tool head (20, 20', 20'') has a central fitting bore (23) for accommodating the spindle fitting pin (2) and an annular mating face (26) concentrically surrounding the fitting bore (23). The end face (9) and mating face (26) have inverse-congruent centring and torque- transmitting means interlocking in the clamping position.
