PURPOSE:To display a screen state being equivalent to a designated screen state even if a distance between a viewer and a display and brightness of the periphery are varied by deriving a screen state to be displayed from the distance between the display and the viewer, the brightness of the periphery and the designated screen. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with an input means (remote control) 1 for instructing a screen state from a remote part, a sensor 2 for inputting an instructing signal from the input means 1, the first measuring means (sequence controller) 6 for measuring a distance between the input means 1 and a display means 10 by a signal from the sensor 2, and the second measuring means 6 for measuring the brightness of the periphery of the display means 10. Also, said device is provided with a means 6 for correcting the instructing information of the input means 1, based on a result of measurement of the first and the second measuring means 6 and displaying the image information on the display means 10. Accordingly, the screen state is corrected by a variation of a distance between a viewer and the display part 10 and the brightness of the periphery from an initial state, and also, corrected by an instruction from the remote control 1 and an operating part 12. In such a way, even if the distance between the viewer and the display part is varied, the screen state being equivalent to the designated screen state can be displayed. |
