PURPOSE:To enable stable printing to be performed with little snaking of paper, by a method wherein a paper feed roller is directly connected to a paper discharge roller, they are driven with a same driving source, paper is always gripped, feed amounts of both rollers are equalized, and the paper is always reciprocated by constant tension. CONSTITUTION:A driving gear 5 is solidly established inside a driving pulley 5a to a paper feed roller 5. A driving gear 5b transmits driving force to a paper discharge roller driving gear provided united with a paper discharge roller 3 via an intermediate gear 8, and rotation of the paper feed roller 5 is transmitted to the paper discharge roller 3 via the intermediate gear 8. Diameters of the paper feed roller 5 and the paper dis. charge roller are set to a same one, and they are rotated by a ratio of 1 to 1. The paper discharge roller 3 pinches paper with a discharge pinch roller 4. Therefore, paper feed amounts of the paper feed roller 5 and the paper discharge roller 3 are equalized, the paper is always moved by constant tension, and the paper is reciprocated by being gripped with the paper feed roller and the paper discharge roller during printing operation. Therefore, stable travel with little snaking of the paper can be performed, and printing shear can be decreased. |
