APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FORMING TRANSMISSION LINE IMAGE

PURPOSE: To realize high accuracy inspection through combination with a computer tomograph for evaluating a TV camera, an image screen and a fluorograph for every line and writing the cross-section of a transmitted specimen on an image screen. CONSTITUTION: Radiation from a radiation source 1 penetrates through a specimen 2 and an image of an X-ray image amplifier 3 is delivered through an optical system 4 to a TV camera 5. The fluorograph is delivered through an image processor 7 to a screen 10 and observed in real time. Image points produced by the camera 5 are stored two-dimensionally in an image memory 6 depending on the illuminance thereof. More specifically, measurements required for a computer tomograph 8 are determined by turning the specimen 2 through a manipulator 13 and stored in the memory 6. The measurements are then fed to the tomograph 8 where a tomographic image is configured and introduced through another memory 9 to the TV screen 10. Since the image has already been decomposed into lines in the memory 3 by means of the camera 5, it is simply required to turn the specimen 2 by one revolution before moving vertically.
