The invention relates to a device and a method for being able to secure a belt 11 or the like to a holding fixture 10', comprising two rollers 20,21 or the like suited to being able with their outer surfaces 20,21a to interact with one amongst a plurality of belt sections 11a,11b,11c belonging to the belt. The said two rollers 20,21 are arranged at a distance apart, enabling the belt end and the belt to be introduced between these rollers and enabling the belt to be drawn or arranged around the one roller 20 to such an extent that two different belt sections lie mutually adjacent. The rollers 20,21 are arranged to be able to rotate in such a direction that the said mutually adjacent belt sections 11a,11b are wound a bit around the second roller 21 and the two rollers 20,21 can be locked against a rotation of the rollers due to a force influence acting upon the rollers from the belt 11b' and directed away from the rollers. <IMAGE> |
