PURPOSE:To continuously perform work even when slip printing work is interrupted, by measuring the position of FF paper before the post discharge of said paper is performed on the basis of the signal of a paper exhaustion detector for confirming the presence of a paper piece and performing positioning on the basis of the measured result at the time of re-feed in. CONSTITUTION:In the slip work during printing work using FF paper, the FF paper is post-discharged by the discharge/feed-in switch on an operation panel 6. During this time, the signal from a paper exhaustion detector 7 is always monitored and a paper exhaustion state appears when the upper end of the FF paper reaches a position G. A slip is further fed by M up to the stand-by position H of the FF paper. Slip feed driving is selected to perform slip work and, when the slip work is returned to the work of the FF paper, the feed driving of the FF paper is selected and the feed-in of the FF paper is performed by the discharge/feed-in switch. Herein, in order to return the FF paper to the state before post discharge, paper feed may be performed by quantity (M+N). The numerical value (M+N) is stored in the memory region of a control circuit 2 and called when the FF paper is used next and paper feed is executed on the basis of said numerical value. |
