<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title engine parts which is lightweight and has excellent corrosion resistance by forming the engine parts exposed to the combustion gas of an engine with an Mg alloy contg. specific compositional amounts of Al. CONSTITUTION:The engine parts exposed to a combustion gas of an engine are formed with a corrosion-resistant Mg ally contg., by weight, 5-12%, preferably 10-12% Al. By the combustion gas brought into contact with the above engine parts and condensed, a corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant protective film consisting of Al salt, Al2O3, etc., of an acid is produced onto the surface of the engine parts. In this way, the engine parts which are lightweight and have excellent corrosion resistance can be obtd. As such engine parts, an induction tube, etc., applied to an EGR process can be exemplified.</p> |
