PURPOSE:To enable a ribbon cartridge to be used as it is through replacing only an ink ribbon when an ink runs out, by providing a ribbon tape having a length corresponding to one round of a ribbon path, and an ink-supplying means. CONSTITUTION:An ink-supplying means 2 is provided for infiltrating an ink into a comparatively short loop form ribbon tape 1. An ink in an ink tank 3 reaches a transfer roller 5 through a transfer felt 4, so that the transfer roller 5 is constantly wetted by the ink. With a feeding roller 8 in a ribbon cartridge 7 rotated, the ribbon tape 1 is fed. The ribbon tape 1 thus fed is pressed against the transfer roller 5 by a spring 6 while the roller 5 is rotated, whereby the ink is supplied and transferred to the ribbon tape 1. |
