Equipment for transfer of dough lumps from an initial conveyor belt to a second conveyor belt has a continuously circulating belt on which a specific number of containers are located, sensors for determn. of the position of the appropriate container and a system for controlling the delivery in response to a sensor signal. Transfer of dough from the first conveyor belt to the dough moulds is controlled to ensure that dough delivery has a greater speed than the dough receiving stage. An initial conveyor belt delivers dough lumps to twenty equally spaced containers (4) mounted on a continuous belt (2). Ten containers (4) are located on each side of the belt (2). Below the belt (2) are two support rails (8) which can be swung outward and accept twenty equally spaced moulds (6). The spacing of the containers (4) from each eeh other is typically twice the distance between each mould (6). Twenty sensors (9), ten on each side of the device, are located exactly on the middle axis of each mould (6) and operate in conjunction with indicators (10) on the side of each container. Each sensor (9) is linked to a release mechanism (11) which operates via an air cylinder, in the container opening mechanism. USE/ADVANTAGE - Automatically transfers dough in a pre-programmable way to moulds on a second conveyor belt which passes through an oven. Manual filling of moulds is eliminated. |
