PURPOSE:To decrease the hardware quantity of a checking circuit by selecting successively one by one out of plural hardware modules and detecting the presence and absence of a trouble. CONSTITUTION:When it is detected in a decoder 3 that a micro-instruction read from a control memory 1 is a non-operation instruction, a parity checking circuit 6 checks the output data of internal registers A-C selected successively by a counter 4 and a selector 5 in accordance with the detection, and a parity. Consequently, one parity checking circuit 6 can check the presence and absence of respective troubles of a hardware module corresponding to respective internal registers A-C. Thus, the checking circuits necessary for respective hardware modules are made unnecessary and the hardware quantity of the checking circuit can be decreased. |
