PURPOSE:To provide a novel apparatus for molding a disklike recording medium wherein a residual resin that will remain at the disk recording medium central section when it is molded is held by a central hole molding center member, the molded recording medium is taken out by an arm and at the same time the residual resin is transferred from the center member to holding means thereby both the residual resin and the molded recording medium are removed from the mold simultaneously by a single arm. CONSTITUTION:After a resin material is injected between molds 1, 2 from a nozzle 9, the molds 1, 2 are closed and pressed to mold the disk recording medium 10, and when the upper mold 1 is lifted, the disk 10 remains on the lower mold 2 and the residual resin 4a remains on the center member 6. The arm 12 having disk sucking disks 13 and the residual resin holder 14, 15 is introduced from the side of the molds, and is lowered toward the lower mold 2, the sucking disks 13 suck up the disk 10 and at the same time the holder 14, 15 pinch the residual resin 4a while the residual resin 4a is pushed up by a pin 7 thereby taking the residual resin and the disk simultaneously out of the molds. |
