Date Sep. 24, 1987.The invention relates to an actuating device for pipe-chamber feeders of hydraulic transport equipment, the latter having main closing appliances, auxiliary closing appliances and a high-pressure pump. The novel feature is that a dashpot or other pressure storing unit is installed in a pressure equalizer pipe interconnecting the high-pressure pure-water pipe of the pump with the auxiliary closing appliances and in the dashpot the carrier liquid is in direct or indirect contact with a gas or air cushion.
