PURPOSE:To effectively use a vacant space by disposing an air cleaner for cooling air in a corner portion between the vehicle outer wall surface of an engine main body and the front wall surface of a transmission case. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner 25 for cooling air is disposed in a corner space A formed by the front wall surface 14c of a transmission case 14 and an outer wall surface 12h of an engine main body 12. The air cleaner 25 is made of resin and box-shaped. The air cleaner is constructed so that a sponge-like filter 27 is accommodated in a cleaner case 26 comprising longitudinally divided front case 26a and rear case 26b, and the peripheral edge of the filter is clamped by dividing faces of both cases 26a, 26b. Thus, as the installation space for the air cleaner 25, the vacant space not used in the conventional case can be effectively used. |
