PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image without dislocation on 1st and 2nd copies by advancely starting the leading edge of a curly transfer sheet by as much as required timing for engaging said edge with the nip of a resist roller. CONSTITUTION:While an intermediate conveying roller 13 sends the leading edge of the curly transfer sheet to a resist roller 14 through a composite conveying path 11, the edge of the transfer sheet is accorded with a photosensitive body. To achieve the accordance, the timing of when the resist roller 14 is rotated is advanced by a period required for the leading edge of the transfer sheet to enter the nip of the resist roller 13 owing to its rotation. Thus, in case of a composite or double-sided copy, a sharp image free of dislocation on the 1st and 2nd copies can be obtained. |
