PURPOSE:To enable longitudinal regulation of a seat in a state that the seat is situated in a driving position by a method wherein a pedal type lever capable of regulating the position of the seat is mounted in the front of the seat. CONSTITUTION:In a state of a seat S when a driver grips a handle, the pedal of a pedal type lever 3 for regulation on a front floor panel 8 is stepped on. The lever 3 for regulation is rotated in a manner that the pedal side is lowered, with a wire 4 stretched, a lock piece 2a is pulled off from the opening hole part of a seat stopper 12, and a seat frame 11 is longitudinally slidable over rests 10. Thus, a driver moves the seat S longitudinally in a state that his hip is levitated in the current posture state, and the seat S is stopped to an optimum driving position. When a foot is separated from the pedal of the lever 3 for regulation, a lock piece 2a is rotated through the force of a spring 2c, and a tip is engaged with the open hole part of a seat stopper 12 to fix the position of the seat frame 11. This constitution enables regulation of the position of the seat S in an accurate posture state during driving. |
