PURPOSE:To simply prevent the misinsertion of a battery by installing a misinsertion detector in the insertion grooves of battery holding arms which are widened by misinsertion of the battery so that the insertion of a battery holder into a battery insertion inlet is made impossible. CONSTITUTION:Arms 12, 12 are protrudedly installed in the main body 11 of a battery holder 10. and grooves 14, 14 are formed on the insides. Each groove 14 is formed so that a flat part 16 is formed on the top surface and an inclined part 18 is formed on the bottom surface so as to fit to the side shape of a lithium battery 20. If the battery 20 is inserted with its flange 22 upward, the battery 20 is properly fitted into the grooves 14, 14. If the battery 20 is inserted oppositely into the grooves 14, 14, the arms 12, 12 are widened, and the insertion of the battery holder into a battery case of an appliance such as camera is made impossible. The misinsertion of a battery is simply prevented. |
