PURPOSE:To perform accurate double-side printing even in the case of a partial paint, by developing the image data of a part of one page to store the same and rotating the same by 180 deg. when printing is applied to the rear surface. CONSTITUTION:A page buffer 1 stores the printing position or character code inputted from the outside and a font pattern memory 2 stores a font pattern. A window 5 is a bit map memory having capacity capable of holding only a part of one developed page and a mirror circuit 7 performs the reversal of a bit row. An output buffer 8 holds the output of a mirror circuit 7 and a control circuit 3 corrects the printing position stored in the page buffer 1 and reverses a character font pattern up and down to develop the same and develops the pattern after up-and-down reversal is executed on the window 5 and, thereafter, the pattern is reversed left and right by the mirror circuit 7 to be inputted to an output buffer 8. |
