PURPOSE:To vaporize a dispersion medium easily by spouting a liquid containing a uniformly dispersed material from an atomizer having an atomizing nozzle directed in parallel to the surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:In a container 1, the spacer material and dispersion medium consisting of a liquid which exerts no influence upon the performance of a liquid display medium sealed in the space between two substrates and the spacer material are mixed with the spacer material uniformly by a stirrer 3 to prepare a mixed dispersion liquid 2, which is supplied to an injection nozzle 5 through a microtube pump 15. Compressed air, on the other hand, is supplied from an intake 8 to the injection nozzle through a filter 6, air flow rate regulating valve 7, and solenoid valve 16 to a specific amount of the dispersion liquid from the injection nozzle 5 to over an objective substrate mounted on a conveyance device 10. The injected dispersion medium evaporates before reaching the substrate because it drops in pressure owing to the injection and the atmospheric temperature in an spraying chamber is held higher than the boiling point of the dispersion medium by a heater 20. |
