PURPOSE:To well perform printing, by providing a large number of recording electrode leads to one surface of a flexible sheet so as to allow the same to protrude from one side part of said sheet in such a state that the end parts of said leads are made uniform. CONSTITUTION:An elongated rectangular opening 4a is formed to the lower part of a flexible sheet 4 and a metal foil is bonded to the entire surface of said flexible sheet 4 and etched to form an electrode lead pattern. When the recording electrode leads 5 formed by etching said metal foil are cut in the opening 4a, said leads are formed so as to protrude from the lower end of the flexible sheet 4 in such a state that the leading end parts 5a... of said leads 5... are made uniform. A support 6 is fixed to the flexible sheet 4 by an adhesive in a state made flush with the leading end parts 5a... of the recording electrode leads 5.... Since the support 6 is arranged so as to be inclined in the relative moving direction (shown by an arrow X) with respect to the transfer sheet 2 of a printing head 1, only the leading end parts 5a... of the recording electrode leads 5... can be brought into contact with a thermal transfer sheet 2. |
