PURPOSE:To restrain erosion of furnace bottom brick or sticking material in a blast furnace by raising ore/coke ratio at furnace center side without raising the O/C ratio at furnace wall side in charging materials in the blast furnace, in case temp. raising at the furnace bottom exceeds the permissible control value in the erosion rate at the furnace bottom part. CONSTITUTION:Under consideration of the ore/coke ratio in the charging material in the blast furnace, by charging a large quantity of the ore having high sp. gr. at the furnace center side, that is, only on furnace core part 3, weight loaded on the core part 3 is increased to sink the furnace core part 3 and interval between the bottom face of furnace core part 3 and the furnace bottom 7 face is decreased or eliminated. By decreasing flow between the bottom face of furnace core part 3 and the furnace bottom 7 face, the furnace bottom 7 face in the blast furnace is inactivated, and melting of the sticking material on the furnace bottom 7 is prevented at early time, to restrain the erosion of the furnace bottom brick or the sticking material 11. Further, as the adjusting index of the O/C ratio on the furnace core part 3 is fixed as the temp. raising degree of the furnace bottom brick, the erosion speed of the sticking material 11 at the furnace bottom 7 in the blast furnace can be assumed and as the O/C ratio is adjusted in accordance with this temp. raising, the erosion of the sticking material 11 can be restrained for short time. |
