A gas filter has a casing divided by perforated partitions into series of rhomboid compartments each with one vertical diagonal, peripheral spacers for the compartments, a lateral gas inlet to one compartment of each series opening from a common collector on the same side of each compartment, an upper inlet to another compartment through which it is filled with granular absorbent material, a lower outlet from the same compartment, and a gas outlet from a third compartment of each series opening into a common collector on the same side of each compartment. ADVANTAGE - The filter is compact.
