<p>A container (12) comprises a treatment space (14) for a material (16), below which is a wind chamber (22) and between the two a perforated plate (80). A rotor (40) with a circular rotor disk (42) which can be rotated about a vertical central axis (A) is arranged below the perforated plate (80). The rotor (40) has at least one opening (44) elongated approximately radially which admits a gas stream (50) flowing up from the wind chamber (22) through the perforated plate (80) into the treatment space (14). The perforated plate (80) has approximately radial lamellae (82) each arranged in an at least approximately vertical plane immediately above the rotor disk (42) so as to guide the gas stream (50) upward into a sharply delimited sector. In each sector-shaped gas stream (50) passing through the perforated plate (80), nozzles (76) for spraying the material (16) in the treatment space (14) are distributed along the radii of the perforated plate (80) with which they are entrained as the rotor (40) rotates.</p> |
