PURPOSE:To reduce the number of assembly parts and facilitate assembly and effectively suppress vibration in reasonable ways over the whole surfaces of the vibration suppressing plates by forming the vibration suppressing plate into rhombic form and setting one of the broad diagonal lines as fixed line. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rhomobic-shaped vibration suppressing plates 1 and 2 have the ear parts 1a and 2a at the respective diagonal line angular corner parts and opposed at a prescribed distance and made of the plastic deformable material, and absorb vibration through the plastic deformation. One between a vibrating metal fitting 7 and hooking metal fitting 9 is engaged with a structure body, and the other is engaged with a piping. When the both vibration suppressing plates 1 and 2 are vibrated on the center line by an earthquake, the vibration is suppressed by the plastic resistance of the vibration suppressing plates 1 and 2. In this case, the moment acts as shown by (b) onto the rhombic vibration suppressing plate (a), and the stress is distributed onto the whole surfaces of the vibration suppressing plates 1 and 2. As shown by (c). Therefore, the number of constitution parts can be reduced, and assembly is facilitated, and vibration can be suppressed effectively in reasonable ways over the whole surfaces of the vibration suppressing plates 1 and 2. |
