The movement track of a slide-like or carriage-like element is covered, in front of and behind the element, by a flexible covering band which, by means of associated deflection devices, is guided over the movable element or through the same. Arranged on at least one longitudinal side of the movement track is a sealing profile strip which extends over the length thereof and exhibits a slot which is open towards the covering band and is delimited on one side by a flexible lip. The lip is continuously bent up by a widening element which accompanies the movable element, said covering band, by means of a deflecting device, being directed, in the region of the bent-up lip, out of the slot or into the same. |
