<p>PURPOSE:To form a tube smoothly with a very small resistance by forming the tube by engaging an engagement part of a profile with its stopping part continuously while winding the profile spirally with the opening end of the engagement part directed toward the tube forming direction. CONSTITUTION:For a profile 7, a stopping part 73 is pushed to the base side of a mandrel 2 by a pushing roller 5 of a profile energizing means to make an engagement part 71 distorted and opened gradually at its opening end as an engagement point X gets closer. The profile 7 slides along a profile introducing surface 43 of a spiral guide 4 to the circumferential surface of the mandrel 2 while further increasing the opening of the opening end of the engagement part 71. The profile 7 then slides on the profile introducing surface 43 while lying down, until a pull stop part 72 is applied to the circumferential surface of the mandrel 2 to get to the underside of a stopping part 73 of the formerly wound profile 7 to be engaged with the stopping part 73.</p> |
