A device for restricting an air flow contains vanes (1), which are arranged in a star shape and are mounted such that they can pivot about radially running pivot journals (3) by means of a common drive (13), there being used, for the mounting, a ring (4), which is common to all of the vanes (1), is passed through by the pivoting journals (3) and has clip feet (5), which point perpendicularly to the pivoting journals (3) and are locked in clip receptacles (6) on a positionally fixed bearing ring (7). Simultaneously, or as desired, in order to produce a driving connection, clip feet (10) on a ring (9), which is common to all of the vanes (1) and is passed through by drive journals (8) at the ends of the vanes (1), protrude into clip receptacles (12) on a drive ring (11), which is common to all of the vanes (1) and on which the actual drive engages (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
