PURPOSE:To exactly mount a suction-out preventive clip in a simple way by forming various demanded parts of a glass run, cutting away a part thereof, joining a part of the cut-away part by the postforming procedure and then sticking the clip to the postformed part. CONSTITUTION:Before a glass run is manufactured, synthetic resin or rubber material is first formed by the injection molding method into a bottom part 11 and each pair of side wall parts 12a and 12b, main lips 13a and 13b and seal lips 14a and 14b. A part, at which a suction-out preventive clip is to be mounted, of the bottom part 11 and the opposing side wall parts 12a and 12b, and a part of one 14a of the seal lips at the external side of a vehicle are cut wider than a holding member 33 of the clip 3. A glass run 1 is put inside a mold, it is filled with postforming material, and the cut section part of the glass run 1 is joined with each other by the postforming method. Thereafter the clip 3 is stuck to the postformed part 3 of the glass run 1. |
