PURPOSE:To select the data of both external memories, to execute the arithmetic processing and to improve operability by providing first and second external memories at an external storage to store the guidance information of a system and storing the additional information of standard guidance information into the first external storage. CONSTITUTION:An external storage 3 to store guidance information is provided at a navigation system, a device 2 for confirming a present position and a man machine interface 1 are connected through a CPU 4 to the device 3, the data of the storage 2 are arithmetic-processed in accordance with the navigation program and displayed at a display device 5 with the CPU 4. In a first external memory 16 of the storage 2 of the system, standard guidance information is stored, and in a second external memory 17, the additional information for standard guidance information is stored. The data stored in both device 16 and 17 are selectively arithmetic-processed by the CPU 14, the guidance information is displayed at the display device 5 and the operability of the system is improved. |
