PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and to obtain high accuracy, by measuring relative positions of two measuring shafts by a pair of a digital scale and a reading head. CONSTITUTION:Intermediate shafts 12 are coupled into two circular opening parts 11, which are in parallel with the measuring direction in side walls which do not face an object to be measured 2, respectively. Said two shafts 12 can be slidden by 1/2 the measuring range or more, respectively. The two measuring shafts 14 can be minutely slidden accurately in the shafts 12. the shafts 14 are connected to measuring levers 9 having measuring probes 4 at the tips. The other ends of the shafts 14 have arms 17, respectively. When the fact that the probes 4 are contacted wth the object to be measured 2 and stopped in measuring is detected, the shafts 12 are stopped. At this time, the size of the object to be measured 2 is obtained by reading the relative positions of the two shafts 14 by the digital scale 6 and the reading heat 7. |
