<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a hub position detector for automatic mounting of a tire by advance-abutting a copying board rotatable with respect to a hub bolt, and thereby measuring the inclination angle of the board, displacement thereof and distance thereof to the side of the bolt. CONSTITUTION:Distance sensors 191-193 are abutted to the tip ends of at least three hub bolts 2 by forwarding a copy board arranged at the rear of a measuring board 20a, thereby distances l1-l3 between respective sensors to the board 20a are detected. A computing means 26 obtains angles d1, d2, of a copying board 20 with respect to the lines B and C from the data and a distance between the sensors. Simultaneously, a distance sensor 35 detects a distance to the side of the hub bolt 2, while a rotational angle sensor 36 detects a rotational angle from a rotation reference position. With the data, a computing means 38 computes a rotation angle theta as well as two-dimensional position. It is thus possible to detect position with a simple structure.</p> |
